All of our cases received abdominal sonography during admission. The sensitivity of abdominal sonography was 84%, and the specificity was 95%. The positive predictive value was 87%, and the negative predictive value was 94%. Twenty-five patients received abdominal CT in the appendicitis group, and 18 patients received abdominal CT in the gastroenteritis group. The sensitivity of CT was 96%, and the specificity was 100%.

Demographics And Clinical Characteristics
